Job summary

RideNow Tri-Cities in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Harley Davidson Technician to join our motorsports team. You will maintain and repair Harley motorcycles and powersports vehicles, perform diagnostics, and communicate repair estimates to customers.

We offer a state-of-the-art shop, training opportunities, and a path to grow as a technician. Qualified candidates may have MMI or equivalent training, one plus year of experience, and a motorcycle endorsement.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from MMI or similar program, or have real-world mechanical experience.
  • 1+ years working as a technician or strong mechanical aptitude and ready to learn.
  • OEM certifications and master tech experience (preferred but not required).
  • Must own a basic set of mechanics tools (comprehensive set preferred).
  • Motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record (required for test rides).
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move heavy motorcycles safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Harley Davidson motorcycles and other powersports vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
  • Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for repairs to customers.
  • Install accessories and upgrades with proper fit and functionality.
  • Test ride vehicles to verify repairs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and transactions.
  • Keep the work environment clean and organized.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Harley Davidson motorcycles and other powersports vehicles, including ATVs, and side-by-sides
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and/or service manuals
  • Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers
  • Install accessories and upgrades for customers, ensuring proper fit and functionality
  • Test ride vehicles to verify repairs and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We're Looking For:

We’re hiring A, B, and entry-level C Techs —if you meet one or more of the criteria below, you could be a great fit:

  • Graduated from MMI or similar program, or have real-world mechanical experience
  • 1+ years working as a technician or strong mechanical aptitude and ready to learn
  • OEM certifications and master tech experience (preferred but not required)
  • Must own a basic set of mechanics tools (comprehensive set of tools preferred)
  • Motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record (required for test rides)
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to safely push motorcycles weighing up to 850lbs
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premises—including indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas—while maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
