San Diego Harley-Davidson is seeking a Certified Motorcycle Technician to join our team of passionate professionals. This role requires a strong background in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, along with up-to-date factory certifications.
- $35.50 – 50.00+ / Hourly
- Up to $10K Sign-On Bonus
- Bonus Paid on Units Produced (After 6 Months)

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and customizations on Harley-Davidson Motorcycles to factory specs
- Complete work efficiently and flag issues early to avoid delays
- Collaborate with service writers to ensure smooth communication and accurate work orders
- Keep your bay and shop clean, organized, and professional
- Stay current with OEM training and certifications — we invest in keeping you sharp
- Deliver every unit in better shape than it arrived
- Help maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are done right the first time
- Minimum 3 yearsof hands‑on experience as a technician in Powersports — must include diagnostics, engine teardown, and rebuild work
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues without relying solely on scan tools
- Familiarity with OEM certifications and service procedures
- Must own or acquire a complete set of tools within 60 days of hire
- Valid motorcycle license required for test rides, good driving record, and ability to pass pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug test, MVR)
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or former Master Technician certification with Harley-Davidson
- Prior experience working in a high‑volume dealership or powersports service center
- OEM factory training completed

- Hourly compensation ranges from $35.50 to $50.00+
- Depending on experience, certifications, and units produced
