Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Hardware Technical Program Manager to drive hardware programs from concept to production across automotive, defense, and industrial sectors. You will own end-to-end PDP and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and system integration teams.

The role requires 7+ years shipping hardware to production, deep PDP understanding, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hardware technical program management
• Experience shipping hardware products to production
• Experience across multiple hardware product lines or industries
• Deep understanding of the hardware product development process (PDP)
• Experience managing multiple complex, concurrent hardware programs
• Strong technical fluency across EE, ME, and system architecture
• Experience with contract manufacturers, vendors, and supply chain

Responsibilities

• Own and drive PDP for hardware programs from concept through production launch
• Manage multiple concurrent hardware programs across cross-functional teams
• Define scope, schedules, milestones, and ensure on-time delivery within quality and cost targets
• Identify technical risks and drive mitigation plans with engineering leads
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and contract manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery
• Run design reviews and maintain program hygiene and action item tracking
• Align hardware and software integration milestones with software teams
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to engineering leadership and stakeholders
