Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Hardware Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end hardware programs across automotive, defense, construction, mining, and agriculture sectors.

You will own PDP from concept through production, coordinating electrical, mechanical, firmware, and system teams to ship on schedule and within cost. Candidates should have a BS in Engineering and 7+ years in hardware TPM, with a proven track record shipping hardware to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hardware TPM experience with a track record of shipping hardware to production.
• Experience across multiple hardware product lines or industries (e.g., consumer electronics, automotive, defense, construction, mining, or agriculture).
• Deep understanding of the hardware product development process (PDP) including design, prototyping, verification/validation, and manufacturing ramp.
• Experience managing multiple complex, concurrent hardware programs with tight timelines.
• Strong technical fluency across EE, ME, and system architecture, enough for technical trade-off discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive PDP for hardware programs from concept through production launch.
• Manage multiple concurrent hardware programs with cross-functional teams across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and system integration.
• Define program scope, schedules, milestones, and hold teams to timelines, quality, and cost targets.
• Identify technical risks and drive mitigation plans with engineering leads.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and contract manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Serve as the operational backbone of each hardware program with design reviews and action-tracking.
• Partner with software and systems teams to align hardware and software milestones.
• Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
