Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale is seeking a Hardware Operations Manager to bridge rapid hardware iteration with safety and field-readiness. You will own manufacturing execution, bring-up, and validation across contract manufacturers and suppliers, guiding prototypes to production launches.

You will lead scheduling, CTB tracking, and ECOs, enforce ISO/IATF quality standards, and collaborate with sourcing to manage costs. The role requires 5+ years in hardware ops and a BS in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
• 5+ years in hardware operations, manufacturing engineering, or technical program management.
• Experience delivering products in consumer electronics or complex physical industries.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end operational execution for complex physical hardware systems combining high-density electronics, embedded compute, sensors, hydraulics, or ruggedized enclosures.
• Oversee BOM risk management, identifying single-source components, long-lead industrial parts, and availability risks early in the design phase.
• Lead factory line bring-ups, build yield tracking, and initial line-stop escalations domestically and internationally.
