Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive product knowledge of hardware products and willingness to learn.
• Sales and marketing experience with retail programs.
• Retail environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems; MS Word and Excel are a plus.
• Commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service.
• Greet guests upon entry, answer phone calls, and stay aware of promotions.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities set by store management.
• Assist in training and developing peers with a courteous approach.
• Maintain merchandising and store cleanliness; keep register area organized.
• Assist with processing shipments and keep receiving/back stock orderly.
• Monitor safety and prevent shoplifting.
• Help guests locate products and process special orders.
• Promote Ridley’s Advantage card and explain benefits to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
