Job summary

Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Clerk to spend time on the sales floor and assist customers in finding the products they need. You will be trained by experienced Team Members and responsible for accurately processing customers' orders through our register system.

A team player with a commitment to service excellence is essential, and flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Experience 0 to 6 months and high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority for team members, guests, and products.
• Properly handle products and equipment per safety guidelines.
• Provide exceptional guest service and aim to delight guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Familiarize with ACE Hardware products to answer questions and make suggestions.
• Stay aware of promotions and advertisements.
• Replenish products on shelves.
• Process new shipments.
• Keep department and back room clean.
• Support an inclusive environment for team members, customers, vendors and the community.
