Job summary

RTX is seeking a Hardware Specialist for the Circuit Card Manufacturing area at our Andover, MA facility. The role focuses on hands-on hardware quality, product compliance, and continuous improvement within the Common Process Operations Quality Team.

Key duties include inspection of assemblies, adherence to drawings and customer specs, and collaboration with production to address quality issues. Onsite shift with potential overtime and a salary range reflecting DoD clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or 2-year post-high school training) or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with quality assurance processes, testing, and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies, including circuit boards, solder joints, wiring, and components, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Verify assemblies meet engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.
• Identify, document, and disposition defects, non-conformances, and deviations from the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and provide feedback for corrective actions.
• Provide real-time support to the production floor by addressing quality concerns, resolving technical issues, and assisting with troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
