Job summary

RTX Forest, MS is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies. You will verify functionality with test witnessing, review engineering drawings, and ensure compliance with technical data packages.

Responsibilities include documenting results, reporting non-conformities, and supporting root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. On-site role, with shift flexibility and potential overtime, in a secure environment

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with at least 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in product inspection or manufacturing quality assurance.
• Experience in manufacturing or depot repair environment.
• Experience reading drawings or blueprints.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electronic and mechanical assemblies for quality and acceptability.
• Perform test witnessing and data verification to ensure functionality.
• Raise notifications of non-conforming items; quarantine or scrap as needed.
• Review drawings and process requirements to ensure compliance with technical data packages.
• Identify defects and report deviations; collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues.
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed records; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work 1st shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; perform admin tasks related to file management and material control.
