Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for Hardware Development to provide staging services for POS hardware and OEM products. You will develop cost-effective staging quotes, create and release ECs and BOMs, define routing documents, and oversee pilot builds with manufacturers to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include validating the LBI process, approving FAI results, and designing packaging solutions that meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Understanding of BOMs, part numbering systems, and product compliance standards.
• Ability to interpret and validate customer-supplied documentation (e.g., image load, test plans).
• Knowledge of packaging customization and logistics.
• Ability to develop cost-efficient quotes based on technical and operational requirements.
• Process design and optimization to define routing processes and approve Line Build In (LBI).
• Clear and professional communication of technical requirements and solutions.
• Attention to detail when reviewing documentation and creating customer changes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit staging for all quote requests, analyzing requirements to develop accurate, cost-effective quotes.
• Create and release Engineering Changes (ECs) and BOMs tailored to staging configurations, ensuring documentation aligns with production.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
