Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager, Hardware Development Operations to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of industry-leading retail hardware solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Hardware Development, this role oversees a team of ~24 professionals across multiple engineering and operational disciplines, driving innovation and organizational development while aligning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in hardware product development.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience leading managers and multifunction engineering organizations.
• Strong background in hardware architecture, product development, and engineering operations.
• Proven success leading large cross-functional initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
• Experience collaborating with and presenting to executive leadership.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve engineering productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Hardware Development Operations organization of ~24 professionals and first-line leadership.
• Provide leadership across Hardware Development Operations, Quality Assurance, Technical Publications, Oracle BPE, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Design, Incident Management, Laboratory Operations.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture.
• Drive platform strategy, technology roadmaps, and early-stage product design through Hardware Front-End Engineering.
• Own RPQ process and ensure timely customer commitments with quality and profitability objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through engineering quality initiatives, RCA, and process automation including AI-enabled tools.
