Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Test Engineer III to drive quality strategy and testing best practices for its POS solutions in retail. You will lead technical test guidance, translate customer requirements into test scenarios, and collaborate across product and development teams to ensure robust verification.

The role requires agile participation, test automation with Selenium/Cucumber/Jenkins, and strong Java and Linux skills.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in computing or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of software test engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and quality strategy.
Experience in agile SDLC and use of agile tools.
Proficient in test automation with Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Postman, TestNG.
Basic Java programming and Linux command skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Partner with test management to implement quality processes and ensure test coverage.
Develop and maintain test scenarios, cases, and execution plans.
Estimate test effort and resource needs for system setups and configurations.
Set up environments, manage test hardware/software, and coordinate equipment.
Collaborate with product and development teams to translate requirements into tests.
Design, run, and report on test cases, defects, and resolutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers.
Create documentation for test initiatives and traceability.
