Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a Product Quality Engineer - RMA FA Engineer (Hardware) in Santa Clara, California. The role focuses on system and board-level testing, debugging, and deep failure analysis for server products, including BIOS/BMC/FPGA knowledge.

Strong hardware experience is required. The position emphasizes reading schematics, component-level troubleshooting, and Linux familiarity, with the option to handle various server components and subassemblies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years to 25+ years of hardware design/testing experience in server products.
• Ability to perform system and board-level testing and debugging down to component level.
• Server knowledge including BIOS/BMC/CPLD/FPGA is highly desirable for design/testing/debugging.
• Ability to read schematics/block diagrams with a detailed understanding of server functionality.
• Visual mechanical inspection of server components and boards; basic electronics troubleshooting.
• Experience with component swapping/removal to isolate failures and perform deeper FA.
• Knowledge of basic Linux environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and board-level testing and debugging down to component level.
• Read and interpret schematics with detailed understanding of server functionality.
• Visual mechanical inspection of server components and boards and electronic components.
• Complete component-level troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Knowledge to perform component swapping/removal to isolate failures.
• Use basic Linux environment and commands.
