We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our hardware lifecycle within our operations. This position involves overseeing hardware procurement and management, while ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. The Hardware Operations Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware assets, ensuring proper configuration and inventory management.
• Lifecycle Management: Track the lifecycle of hardware equipment from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring regular assessments and updates as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for hardware setups, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, IT, and other relevant teams to ensure hardware requirements are met for ongoing projects.
• Operational Efficiency: Continuously assess the performance of hardware systems and identify areas for improvement to optimize operational workflows.
• Coordination: Manage product builds, test cycles, and hardware validation processes.
• Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including procurement, contract adherence, and delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels of hardware components and ensure timely replenishment to avoid any disruptions to operations.
• Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports on hardware operations to management, highlighting issues, progress, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in program/project management, hardware operations, IT support, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of hardware components, systems setup, and troubleshooting; familiarity with network hardware, servers, storage devices, and related technologies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hardware performance optimization and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with data center operations and server management.
• Knowledge of BOM Management.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g. RoHS, REACH, etc.)
