H. T. PROF Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead architecture through production release of complex networking hardware.

You will manage a cross-disciplinary team of HW, mechanical, and ECAD specialists, collaborate with PM, RTL, software, compliance, and manufacturing to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This is a direct-hire, on-site role with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong people-management and development experience.
• Experience with the design, development, and productization of computer networking equipment.
• Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and practices.
• Experience with EMC design techniques and resolving EMC non-compliance issues.
• Experience with high performance processors and embedded platforms.
• Knowledge of PCB stackups and understanding of materials.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of hardware development from architecture through to production release.
• Lead a diverse team of HW, mechanical, and ECAD resources.
• Participate in a cross-functional team environment including PM, RTL, Software, compliance, and manufacturing.
• Assist in the management and development of OEM relationships.
• Support sustaining efforts and implement changes to improve yields.
