Job summary

Cisco Milpitas is hiring a Hardware Engineer to advance high-speed board and system design across the CRBU portfolio. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to validate PCIe Gen6/7 interfaces, characterize silicon-to-board interfaces, and drive measurements with VNA, TDR, and high-speed probes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in hardware/ RF design and validation.
• Experience with high-speed measurement equipment and lab instrumentation.
• Experience with VNA measurements and signal integrity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Validate high-speed channels from silicon to PCB interfaces.
• PCIe Gen6 validation and physical layer characterization.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (VNA, TDR, oscilloscopes, BERTs).
• Develop Python or MATLAB scripts to automate instrument control.
• Correlate lab data with simulations (HFSS/ADS/Sigrity) to drive root-cause analysis.
