Job summary

AMD is seeking a motivated Hardware Design Verification intern/co-op to join our team. You will contribute to design, build, and delivery of high-end Machine Intelligence products, working closely with engineers to develop verification plans and test benches.

You will write scripts (e.g., Perl/Python) to manage resources and support regression flows, and help debug Verilog/system Verilog code in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a US-based Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Perl, or Shell scripting encouraged.
• Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog and digital design concepts desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build verification test plans and models.
• Write scripts to track compute resources (Perl/Python).
• Test regression flows using Perl/Python/MySQL/PHP to support projects.
• Review tools and processes to improve simulation performance and efficiency.
• Assist debugging and development of Verilog/system Verilog code and test benches.
