Verkada Inc. in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Hardware Engineer Program Manager - Compliance to lead certification efforts for our safety and security products. You will collaborate with HW, SW, Product, Supply Chain and Legal to drive global compliance from concept through mass production and shipping.

On-site role requiring 5 days in the office. The ideal candidate has BS in engineering and 3–5 years certifying electronic devices for RF/EMC and safety, plus proven experience with NRTL testing

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field.
3–5 years certifying electronic end devices for RF/EMC and safety.
Experience coordinating testing with NRTLs (Intertek, UL, etc.).
Proven track record shipping new hardware products.
Excellent organizational & communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead certification efforts for life safety and security products.
Test and certify products with labs and regulatory bodies.
Translate standards into product requirements and test plans.
Define requirements, develop test plans, and document technical data.
Steer new hardware through global compliance.
