Job summary

Verkada is seeking an Engineering Program Manager - Compliance for hardware to lead RF/EMC certification and regulatory efforts. You will work with RF labs, NRTLs, and internal teams to translate standards into deliverables and drive certifications for new life-safety products.

You will be on-site in San Mateo, CA, collaborating with hardware, software, product, and supply chain teams to ensure global market access and timely shipping of compliant devices.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; 3-5 years in certifying electronic end devices for RF EMC and safety.
• Experience coordinating testing with NRTLs (Intertek etc) to obtain certifications.
• Track record of successful development, manufacturing and shipping of new electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification efforts for next generation life safety security products.
• Collaborate with Product HW and SW to translate standards into clear requirements and test plans.
• Define requirements, develop test plans, and coordinate testing with external labs or regulators.
• Steer new hardware through global compliance requirements.
