Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Manager III, Hardware Development to lead two ISO 17025-accredited laboratories, overseeing compliance testing and accreditation maintenance for GA-ready products.

You will manage a team of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety engineers, drive continuous improvement, and partner with product teams to align testing with regulatory standards. This role demands strategic planning, budget stewardship, and cross-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing teams or mentoring engineers.
• Experience prioritizing multiple demands and negotiating timelines.
• Knowledge of product compliance testing disciplines such as EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical product safety.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 accreditation and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of two ISO 17025 laboratories and maintain accreditation.
• Manage and develop a team of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety engineers across two sites.
• Balance priorities across product portfolio and allocate resources effectively.
• Define strategies for new testing capabilities and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
• Drive efficiency, metrics, and automation to reduce cycle times while maintaining quality.
• Navigate budget processes and articulate equipment needs and growth plans to senior leadership.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with product teams, program management, and executives.
