You will mentor engineers, collaborate with OEM/ ODM partners, and manage certification activities across NPI programs while monitoring evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-10 years of industry experience in electrical/hardware engineering and regulatory compliance.
  • 5-10 years of experience with product regulatory compliance and certification.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using electrical engineering design tools and software packages.
  • Strong understanding of electrical hardware design principles and product development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate engineering solutions for electrical and electronic components, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans for new and existing product designs, including validation of EMI/EMC, electromagnetic immunity, product safety, reliability, and thermal performance.
  • Lead regulatory compliance activities throughout the product development lifecycle from design through launch.
  • Represent Electrical Hardware on global regulatory requirements and ensure early incorporation into designs.
  • Lead internal and outsourced teams delivering compliant, cost-effective solutions for moderately to highly complex products.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership, suppliers, OEM/ODM partners and external orgs to resolve regulatory risks.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less-experienced engineers.
