Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a detail‑oriented Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Specialist to support tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management of IT hardware assets across the organization. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, physical audits, and collaboration with IT and Asset Management teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining asset records in Asset Panda or similar systems, conducting routine counts, and assisting with deployment, relocation, storage, and retirement of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management, asset management, or related admin roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and asset tracking concepts.
• Proficient data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift, move computer equipment and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate asset records through data entry and updates within the organization's asset management system (Asset Panda or similar asset tracking tools).
• Conduct physical inventory audits of IT hardware including laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and other equipment.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, moving, and tracking hardware assets across facilities.
• Verify asset information and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
• Support asset lifecycle processes including deployment, relocation, storage, and retirement of equipment.
• Perform routine inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Generate and maintain inventory documentation, reports, and logs.
• Collaborate with IT and Asset Management teams to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
• Follow established asset management policies and best practices.
