Job summary

Texas Southern University is seeking a Hardware Asset Management Process Owner within the OIT department. You will own HAM processes, ensure lifecycle adherence, and drive accountability for TSU students, faculty, and staff.

You will manage the student loaner laptop program, coordinate with IT vendors, and generate reporting to support strategic objectives while collaborating with Help Desk and A/V teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field is required.
• Experience in HAM or asset management processes is preferred.
• ITIL certification or familiarity is preferred.
• Experience with Service NOW Hardware Asset Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce HAM processes and lifecycle adherence.
• Communicate process expectations and ensure accountability across OIT staff and TSU users.
• Manage Student Loaner Laptop program including inventory, imaging, issuance and reclamation.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes, inventory forecasting, and hardware refresh planning.
