Job summary

Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, Inc. seeks an experienced Hard Goods Sales Representative to grow regional sales of horticultural products from our sales office, showroom, home office, and on-site client visits.

This hybrid role requires frequent travel within the territory to meet customers, present products with samples and catalogs, and manage pricing, contracts, and accurate order entry to ensure timely delivery and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred, but not required
• 2-3 years of sales experience in horticulture or agriculture
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Experience working with wholesale/retail customers and understanding their needs

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region to visit customers and build market presence
• Answer inquiries by phone or in person; provide product guidance
• Present products with samples and catalogs
• Provide delivery estimates and ensure timely service
• Enter orders accurately into Prelude system
• Collaborate with collections to monitor accounts and statuses
