Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Hard Down Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic in Montgomery, AL. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using T3 for documentation and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing heavy equipment, aerial lifts or diesel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; 21+ to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, working independently.
• Read schematics and use diagnostic software to isolate faults.
• Document work orders accurately and daily in T3 (laptop/tablet).
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Mentor junior technicians.
