Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR for Professional Rescuer certification or ability to obtain within two months.
• Massachusetts Boating Safety Certificate or ability to obtain within two months.
• USCG Merchant Mariner Credential with OUPV or Master Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee public safety, rescue, and recreational services in the Town of Danvers waterways.
• Enforce applicable laws and regulations and interact with the public and various organizations.
• Perform duties with discretion, judgment, and initiative as described in the role.
