Job summary

Würth Wood Group seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for its Mobile, AL branch. This hands-on role leads a 7-person team across receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory management, including CDL drivers and tint lab staff.

You’ll ensure safe, efficient operations and drive continuous improvement. You will actively lead on the front lines in all departments, including our tint lab, as we transition to RF scanners and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience in warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and collaborate.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Physical stamina to lift/move heavy objects; ability to work varying shifts and overtime; forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory management.
• Ensure operational tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and per company policies and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse personnel to foster excellence and teamwork.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to plan and prioritize daily tasks and shipments.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment for maintenance or hazards.
• Address operational issues promptly and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service for effective coordination.
• Other duties may be assigned.
