Job summary

Würth Wood Group seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the Raleigh, NC distribution center. You will oversee inbound/outbound processes, ensure safety compliance, and drive daily efficiency while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role requires hands-on leadership across the front lines, including the color lab, and close collaboration with sales and customer service. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a Monday–Friday schedule, and direct-hire employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership.
• Strong background in inbound and outbound operations including receiving, stockkeeping, picking/packing and shipping.
• Experience developing and enforcing SOPs.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day receiving, stocking, picking and packing outbound orders.
• Ensure DOT compliance for fleet and equipment.
• Follow SOPs for daily operations.
• Weekly benchmarking and goal setting.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams.
• Daily warehouse cleaning and safety checks.
• Utilize reports to measure performance and communicate results.
• Plan workloads to ship same day by 4:00 pm or per delivery schedule.
• Set standards to drive a customer-focused environment.
• Train staff on Würth Wood Group safety program and conduct monthly facility walk-through.
• Ensure safe work environment per OSHA and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of delivery trucks and driver training per DOT policies.
• Route trucks effectively and monitor logistics expenses.
