Reliance, Inc. in California is seeking a Material Handler - Plant worker to support manufacturing operations. The role involves reading specs, operating forklifts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include following order filling procedures, measuring parts with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, and performing preventative maintenance as needed. Proficiency in English is required and a valid driver's license is preferred for handling materials.

Qualifications

Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
Ability to read in English and comprehend safety instructions.
Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
Certification to operate all required motorized material handling and rigging equipment preferred but not required.
Basic measurement skills, including reading a tape measure, caliper and micrometer.

Responsabilités

Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Follows order filling procedure.
Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
Completes filling out work order and production sheets with all necessary information (lot number, tag number, P.O., packaging information).
Uses chop saw to fill orders.
Performs preventative maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning nail guns.
Reports irregularities to supervisor for direction.
Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations.
