Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support metals processing and distribution operations in the Plant family.

You will move inventory, fill orders, and assist with shipping, receiving, tagging, and stocking materials under supervision. The role requires 1-2 years in warehousing or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, basic measurement and math skills, and the ability to operate material handling equipment after certification.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR checks.
• Able to operate forklift, side loader, or crane after certification.
• Strong reading and writing communication; legible handwriting.
• Basic measurement and math skills for length/weight conversions.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and equipment, fill orders, and unload/load materials.
• Operate forklifts and yard trucks as needed.
• Tag materials and maintain accurate documentation.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Restock materials and report irregularities to supervisor.
• Drive local deliveries if required (non-DOT).
• Receive and place items into stock locations.
