Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to efficiently move, store, pack and track materials within the warehouse. You will operate forklift equipment, assist with loading and deliveries, and adhere to safety procedures throughout daily plant operations.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to stand or walk for long periods, and comfortable lifting up to 70 pounds as needed. Training will be provided for all required skills and processes.

Responsibilities

• Must perform all work duties as safely as possible, following all safety procedures and rules. Gloves, safety glasses and steel toe boots with metatarsal guards must be worn when required. Boots must be worn during your shift.
• Bending, reaching, pulling, twisting and lifting will be performed during your shift. Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Working in the warehouse stocking inventory using a forklift/Raymond.
• Pulling orders accurately, reading and understanding work orders, tape measures and calipers.
• Loading and offloading flatbed and box trucks using slings, fork extensions, boom and other loading and unloading equipment.
• Everyone must partake in daily plant operations and safety procedures.
• Process and accurately keep track of all inventories on Stelplan Computer Program.
• Understand how to operate machines such as the shear, chop saw, band saw.
• Stacking and banding metal on skids and pallets.
• Assist with company deliveries and routing of delivery trucks.
• Keep all work areas clean!!!
