Job summary

Golden Triangle Federal Credit Union is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Operations to drive day-to-day effectiveness, support member experiences, and partner with the President/CEO to advance the credit union's strategic goals.

This role leads branch operations, teller and account services, reconciliations, compliance, and staff development, with accountability for internal controls and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in credit union or financial institution operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to improve processes and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize daily credit union and branch operations.
• Coach, train, and develop staff to build a strong team culture.
• Ensure exceptional member experiences and consistent service quality.
• Oversee teller functions, account services, cash controls, ACH, wires, cards, and ops areas.
• Support general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify process improvements.
• Support regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Collaborate with President/CEO on priorities and initiatives.
• Step in to solve problems and serve employees and members.
