Job summary

Premier America Credit Union is seeking a VP of Banking Operations in Chatsworth to provide strategic oversight for member operations, controls, and technology initiatives. You will lead multi-function teams, drive efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance across consumer and business accounts.

The role requires a senior operations leader with deep experience in financial services, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to advance enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial services operations leadership experience, including compliance, risk management, and team leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience within banks or credit unions.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle of consumer and business member relationships and ensure compliant, scalable growth.
• Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and controls for accounts.
• Ensure timely tax, IRA, compliance, and escheatment reporting with proper controls.
• Establish and report operational KPIs for service, productivity, risk, and progress.
• Lead collaborations across departments to resolve gaps and improve handoffs.
• Identify root causes, implement improvements to reduce risk and improve experience.
• Lead workflow redesign, automation, and measurable improvements in service quality and efficiency.
• Monitor turnaround times, errors, escalations, and SLA performance.
