Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time Instructor to deliver hands-on STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction in-person to PreK-12 students. You will work with training, lesson plans, and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

Mondays through Fridays, 2:00–5:00 PM, with approximately 60-minute blocks; compensation is $55 per hour per class. AA degree or higher and teaching experience with children are preferred.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, high-quality in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
• Follow lesson plans and materials provided; prepare for instruction.
• Engage with site personnel and the Program Success Manager.
• Adapt instruction using Nexplore’s program collection and accommodations.
