King of Prussia is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a fast-paced scratch kitchen and partner closely with the Executive Chef to develop a strong team. This role focuses on hands-on leadership, delivering exceptional food quality, and driving operations in a high-volume environment.

You will mentor hourly staff, manage back-of-house activities, and participate in ongoing training and development to prepare for future advancement to an Executive Chef role.

Qualifikationen

• Two+ years of culinary management in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

Aufgaben

• Oversee back-of-house operations with the Executive Chef.
• Lead daily food production and ensure consistent recipe execution.
• Coach, mentor, and develop hourly kitchen staff.
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Help manage food cost, labor cost, and kitchen productivity.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of BOH staff.
• Perform and supervise butchering and portion control.
• Lead kitchen operations in the Executive Chef's absence.
• Partner with leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
