Job summary

GALLO invites students to a hands-on Product Insights and Sensory Internship at our Modesto, CA headquarters. You will work with sensory scientists, winemakers, and cross-functional teams to learn how sensory data informs product development across wine, spirits, and beverages.

You will contribute to a defined research project, learn descriptive analysis and reporting methods, and present your findings in written and oral formats by internship end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an advanced degree in Food/Sensory Science or related field.
• Must be 21+ years old at start date.
• Reliable transportation to and from Modesto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Join GALLO’s Product Insights and Sensory Operations team for a hands-on summer internship at our Modesto headquarters.
• Contribute to a defined research project supporting product development, category reviews and quality monitoring.
• Learn to evaluate sensory profiles, develop, implement and report findings using established research methods.
• Present methodology, activities, and results in written and oral formats.
