Job summary

GALLO invites aspiring winemakers to join a six-month internship across winemaking, research winemaking, spirits distillation, and enology. You will work with experienced professionals, receive hands-on technical training, and contribute to a diverse portfolio of wines and spirits at California sites from July through December 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or has obtained one of these degrees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in winemaking evaluations, trials, and fermentation monitoring.
• Conduct wine tasting and sensory evaluation.
• Support bench, pilot, and plant-scale experiments and data recording.
• Collaborate on enology research projects and documentation.
• Present project results to GALLO management at internship end.
