Job summary

Geiger Pump & Equipment Company in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a Sales and Project Support Specialist to manage quotations, take-offs, order entry in SAGE 300, and to support delivery, service and start-ups. You will coordinate projects, assist with valve assembly, and provide inside sales support while maintaining safety and compliance.

This role blends customer-facing responsibilities with hands-on shop and field duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or better in a related field.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Customer-service focused and able to respond to technical and non-technical inquiries.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on shop and field work.
• Ability to work with a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to use ERP software including the company ERP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and valve take-offs, and specification-based selections.
• Process customer orders accurately using the ERP system (SAGE 300).
• Assist with valve assembly, maintenance, staging, and equipment preparation.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, warehouse organization, inventory, and facility maintenance.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations.
• Conduct site visits, service calls, and project start-ups.
• Provide inside sales support to customers.
