Job summary

Geiger Pump and Equipment Company is seeking an Applications Engineer to be the technical resource for customers and internal teams. You will troubleshoot failures, evaluate performance, and help size pumps and rotating equipment.

You'll gain hands-on experience with pumps and rotating equipment, collaborating with sales to provide the right solutions and supporting field service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in mechanical or chemical engineering; associate degree with hands-on experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for existing installations: troubleshooting, performance evaluations, and upgrade recommendations.
• Work hands-on with equipment in the Baltimore shop and travel to Aston, PA as needed.
• Diagnose equipment issues with service and sales teams and build corrective action plans for pumps and rotating equipment.
• Support startup, commissioning, field inspections, and on-site performance verification with field service technicians and sales engineers.
