Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, with responsibilities spanning interviewing, hiring, training and supervising staff. The role requires adherence to company and brand standards, food safety, sanitation, and budgetary controls, with availability for nights and weekends.

Leadership experience in hospitality is preferred, and the role may entail participating in all location tasks to ensure smooth operation and compliance with laws

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hospitality preferred
• Interviews and training of staff may be required
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation practices desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and hands-on tasks
• Interview, hire and train staff and provide supervision
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and brand standards
• Monitor food safety, sanitation and hygiene requirements
• Control expenses relative to goals and assist with scheduling and staffing
• Be available to work nights and weekends as needed
