Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a General Manager in Florida to own the restaurant from people to performance. You’ll lead from the front, coaching Crew Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers while maintaining food quality and customer service.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage costs, protect guest experience, and drive growth through team development and operations excellence. Peanut exposure is part of the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for financial result.
• Open availability, ability to work varying shifts every week
• Desire to be a hands-on teacher, cheerleader, coach and mentor to the crew
• Possesses and demonstrates a strong owner-like commitment to operations and customer service
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• A creative approach to growing the business (community-engagement, fundraisers, etc.)
• ServSafe certification

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the restaurant — the people, the performance, and everything in between.
• Lead from the front and coach Crew Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers.
• Build a great team and develop future leaders while safeguarding food quality and safety.
• Protect costs and deliver an awesome guest experience.
• Set the pace, raise the bar, and ensure the restaurant is ready to win every day.
