Job summary
Five Guys Burgers and Fries is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead on the floor, drive people, performance, and day-to-day operations while upholding the Five Guys experience. You will coach, maintain food safety and brand standards, and collaborate with the General Manager to develop the team, ensure fast service, and deliver a clean, high-energy restaurant environment.
This on-site role requires open availability, a hands-on leadership style, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive
Qualifications
- Open availability to cover various shifts.
- Hands-on leadership and team coaching experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain high cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead from the front to manage people and day-to-day operations.
- Support General Manager with coaching and performance reviews.
- Oversee food safety, brand standards, and restaurant cleanliness.
- Step in during rushes, train staff, and drive operational results.
- Work on the floor, ensure customer satisfaction and teamwork.
