Job summary

Concord Capital seeks a Manager, Real Estate Finance to own the numbers for the portfolio, run AppFolio as the system of record, and lead the accounting team. You’ll be accountable for clean ledgers, reconciled balance sheets, current debt service, and investor reporting, working closely with the CFO.

It’s a player-coach role, side-by-side with the CFO in acquisitions, development, financing, and reporting, with a clear path toward Controller as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA not required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with full-cycle close.
• Experience supervising or training others.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Close every property on time each month in AppFolio with reconciled ledgers.
• Lead, train, and develop the accounting team; set close calendar.
• Manage cash/treasury, funding requests, and bank relationships.
• Oversee resident accounting, AP, and job-level profitability.
• Support corporate close, intercompany allocations, and year-end work.
• Write procedures and leverage AI to automate processes.
