Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain property buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and cleanliness to meet company standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance while following established policies.

You will also prepare vacant units for leasing, manage vendor coordination, and document all tasks accurately for tracking. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or Universal) required for Certified Service Technicians.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications must be valid for the role.
• A valid driver’s license is required to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and perform preventative maintenance diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and safety standards.
• Execute make-ready processes for vacant apartments including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Access materials from maintenance and track inventory, returning unused items and notifying re-orders.
• Document work and service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA refrigerant certification types 1 & 2 or universal

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver's license for golf cart operation
