Job summary

Empire Property Management Group LLC in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of repair tasks across rental properties and common areas.

You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and preventative tasks, reporting issues to the property management office. A valid driver’s license, own tools, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must have own tools for the job (basic hand tools required).
• Must be able to use basic hand tools as well as power tools.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes.
• Previous related experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician; drywall, painting, doors, lights, locks, windows, etc.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Complete work orders via smartphone and document materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and staff.
• Drive to properties in a company vehicle daily.
