Job summary

Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on upkeep across our apartment communities.

You will handle painting, appliance servicing, electrical and plumbing tasks, and general repairs to maintain a safe, clean living environment for residents and visitors. You will conduct regular inspections, keep a well-organized maintenance shop, manage inventory, and assist with lawn care to preserve curb appeal.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and integrity of the apartment community.
• Ensure a clean, comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
• Complete make-ready procedures: painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repair of old parts; replace bulbs; check locks; cleaning.
• Perform regular inspections of grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment and repair as needed with approval from Property Manager.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain curb appeal through lawn care.
• Take after-hours emergency calls as assigned.
