Job summary

Palermo Villa, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead plant floor operations, coach teams, and ensure daily production goals for output, quality, and efficiency are achieved.

You will supervise daily operations, monitor product quality, maintain records, staff appropriately, and partner with Maintenance to fix equipment quickly while upholding USDA, OSHA, and BRC policies.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (frozen food manufacturing a plus).
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant floor operations to meet production schedules.
• Monitor output to ensure all products meet quality and specification standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop operations team members.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, performance, and disciplinary documentation.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and communicate workforce needs to leadership and HR.
• Monitor material usage to prevent waste or shortages.
• Complete required production paperwork in accordance with Palermo’s, USDA, OSHA, and BRC policies.
• Conduct regular worksite reviews to ensure compliance with safety policies and proper PPE usage.
• Partner with Maintenance to address equipment issues quickly and effectively.
• Investigate accidents or injuries and complete required safety documentation.
• Enforce all company, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
