Job summary

Actalent, based in Burlington, NC, seeks an Operations Manager to lead production operations in our manufacturing facility. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and engagement while guiding supervisors and production teams across departments.

Collaboration with maintenance, engineering, quality, and leadership is essential to meet production goals and uphold accountability and continuous improvement.

• Experience leading manufacturing operations and improving production performance.
• Strong ability to drive safety, quality and productivity improvements.
• Proven track record of leading supervisors and large production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and production operations.
• Manage and develop production supervisors and frontline employees.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety initiatives.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including throughput, downtime, waste, and labor utilization.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, training, and employee development.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Resolve production issues and operational bottlenecks.
• Foster a positive, high-accountability culture focused on results.
