Job summary

Actalent in Greensboro, NC is seeking a hands-on, engineering-driven Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations in our production facility. You will optimize production processes, improve equipment performance, and drive operational excellence with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and Leadership to improve performance, reduce variability, and implement sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on, engineering‑driven leadership required.
• Strong ability to drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations with focus on process optimization and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and development for frontline supervisors and operators.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, and related methodologies.
• Analyze KPIs (OEE, throughput, downtime, yield, scrap, labor) and improve equipment reliability.
