Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in Coflax, NC. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity while developing teams and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee production activities, organize tasks, mentor staff, and partner with senior leadership to meet performance goals and continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Lean practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong math skills and ability to read precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production activities for assigned shift.
• Organize and delegate tasks to employees.
• Ensure personnel train and work safely and efficiently.
• Oversee changeovers and maintain machine readiness.
• Hire, train, and mentor shift employees; conduct reviews.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S.
• Meet production output, quality, and material utilization goals.
